48 hours consisted of 42 prints done by 15 photographers: Jan Bogle, Joan Bowers, Alex Brikoff, Paul Butzi, David Clarridge, Monica Danos, Mike Dilbeck, Ron Hammond, Rob McKaughan, Susan Farrell Peterman, Vitali Propenko, Will Peterman, Charles Rogerson, Bill Saltzstein, and Diane Stefanich.
Springboarding off the success of our previous group show titled ‘A Good Day’s Work’, the show had no unifying theme beyond the requirement that all submitted prints must be from exposures made during one 48 hour period: May 21-22, 2005. In addition to this constraint, print submissions were a mere five weeks after the exposure period, so that all work submitted was produced on a very short time scale. Each photographer was allowed to submit up to four prints, and the Paul Butzi and David Clarridge were co-curators for the show.
The 42 print show was on display at the gallery at Cascades Academy in Issaquah, Washington, from August 5th through September 23rd, 2005.
