Meetings
We hold a monthly general meeting, and have spawned several focused work review groups.

General Meetings
The full group meets on the last Wednesday of each month in Bellevue to discuss general business and news, enjoy a short program (usually by and about member work) and to view members' work.  These meetings are held at the East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue, WA at 7pm.

Review Groups
Small group meetings to review and critique members’ work are held bi-weekly in members’ homes in the Seattle/Bellevue area.  Currently there are 3 such groups.  Membership in each of these groups is held to 8 or fewer.  If you are interested in joining one of these groups, please follow this contact link page for more information.

  • The oldest group, known loosely as the Monday Night Group, summarized its modus operandi in the Monday Night Manifesto.
  • The second group is known loosely as the Wednesday Night Group.
  • The third group, also meeting on Wednesday night is known as the “Agents Provocateurs”

A special interest group, "Third Tuesday", was started in the fall of 2005.  It is a review group for those working with, or interested in, alternative processes.  This group is also loosely affiliated with the Cascadia Chapter of the Center for Photographic History and Technology.  Monthly meetings are on the - you guessed it - Third Tuesday of each month.  Meetings are held at East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue.  Platinum/Palladium, Gum, Van Dyke Brown, and Salt Printing, as well as the three Polaroid techniques are the main alternative processes used by members to-date.  In addition to reviewing prints for artistic and technical merit, members also discuss process, materials, and equipment (including vintage cameras) since these are important elements in successful alternative photography. Third Tuesday has plans to amass a group portfolio and solicit space for group shows in the future, as well as engaging in other projects of interest to the members, such as group "shoots." New members are welcome.  Click here for more information on Third Tuesday.  For more information on the Cascadia Chapter of CPHT
